Job Summary
The school psychologist will provide broad-based psychological services to schools. These services will include (but are not limited to): data collection and analysis; progress monitoring; consultation and collaboration; academic/learning interventions; behavior interventions; assessments of students; lead MDT meetings; assist with Response to Intervention/Multi-tiered systems of support; emotional, educational, cognitive, and behavioral needs; participate on crisis response teams; assist with coordinating services among the community, schools, and families to meet students’ needs, etc. In addition, work with the ESU 8 School Psychologist team to provide professional development opportunities for educators.
Educational Service Unit 8 will consider a school psychologist intern for the position. The intern will be provided with salary, benefits, and the supervision/support needed to successfully complete an internship.
